"Pop loved to tell people that they were his favorite. It was a fun game he played on us all. But The truth is he was always telling the truth. He was always so proud of his family. He would uniquely find the things about us that were important. He got to know us individually. He knew what made us tick. He genuinely cared about us and what was happening in our lives.
When he told us, all of us, that we were his favorites he meant it. The man was so full of love that every one of us were his favorite.
