"I've know Joanne since the early 70's... our children were the same ages. Through the years even after I moved out of town, when I came back I would see her at a restaurant or grocery store and we would catch up on old times. In particular, I would walk my dog in Newtown Cemetery and she would come across from her home and again, we would talk about our children and our pets. What a sweet lady she was... always a smile. I will surely miss seeing her... but I know I will see her again some day. Rest in peace Joanne. Liz Volk Jenkins Becker"

"We are so sad to hear the JoAnne has passed away. I have known her for many years. Such a wonderful lady and so much fun. She was a nurse in my mother, Dr. Betty's practice for many years. I also worked with her with the Pickering manor Auxiliary. She was a beautiful person and I will dearly miss her."
