Crawford, David G., 67 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 with his wife Janine of 29 years by his side.

He will be truly missed by so many, especially his wife Janine (nee Tarsitano), his daughters, Sarah, and Andrea, his siblings, Donna Hagerty (Alan dec'd), William Crawford (Pat), Eugene Crawford (Dolores), Stephanie Baronak (George), Raymond Crawford (Marjorie dec'd), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Prayer Service 11 a.m. Interment Saint Dominic's Cemetery.

Condolence & Memory Journal

I am so sorry to hear this news. Dave gave his all, all the time and was so faithful to his call to serve Jesus Christ. Imagine his welcome into heaven with Jesus holding out his arms and saying "well done, good and faithful servant". I am keeping Janine in my prayers.

The Philadelphia Plice Chaplain progranm has truly lost a very Good man and God fearing leader. His love and compassion for others speaks vvolumes to what he believed in and who he served. He's now resting in the presence of God.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Dave was such a wonderful brother in Christ. After 20 plus years, it was an honor to get to know him, from the Calvary Bookstore to his PUMA ministry, he was a solid example of a Christian man.

He was a huge blessing to the Foodbanks and toy drives at The Salvation Army in Philadelphia and Levittown. He never let his right hand know what the left was doing, but silently helped 1000's of kids each year with Food and toys. I will miss him very much!

As a friend of Salvation Army and the Philadelphia Police department, I can say with confidence: "Dave was promoted to Glory"
