Tribute & Message From The Family

Andrea Elizabeth (nee Chuhra) Vogel, of Cheltenham, passed away on December 28th at the age of 71. Her parents Andrew and Elizabeth (Szabo) Chuhra preceded her in death. She was the beloved wife of Jack Vogel; loving mother of Christopher (Sandi) Hessler, Aaron Vogel, and Jamie (Alex) Barth; devoted grandmother of Rachael (Chris) Nergart, Sarah Hessler, Hannah Hessler, Dawson Barth, Payton Barth, and Duncan Barth; and loving sister of Brenda (Walt) Laird.
Andrea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her family meant the world to her. Andrea was loving, caring and compassionate and will be sadly missed by her family and friends that she held dear. She was a people person, loved to travel and enjoyed reading, which was perfect as she worked for the Library in Elkins Park for many years.

Andrea will have a Life Celebration at a later date in her honor.

Andrea was, for me, that rare item of a good friend made later in life. I think of her often and I'm thinking of her even more now that her birthday is approaching. Andrea loved to celebrate the birthdays and special events of others, even more so than they themselves did sometimes. A loyal friend gone way too soon.

Andrea was a former coworker of mine at the Elkins Park Library. She was a fun and caring person to work with. She was so devoted to her family and loved her cat. My heart goes out to her husband, kids, grand kids, sister and her husband. She will surely be missed.
