Tribute & Message From The Family

Arturo Carreon Pabustan, 75, a resident of Elkins Park, went to the Lord at his home on March 30, 2020. He was born on October 12, 1944 in Bataan, Philippines and was the son of the late Felix Pabustan and Candida Carreon Pabustan. Arturo served six years in the United States Navy. After his military service, Arturo worked for 34 years at Albert Einstein Medical Center as a cardiac catheterization technologist. He made the decision to retire in 2008 after the birth of his granddaughter, Malaina. While taking care of his granddaughter was his new full-time job, he also enjoyed golfing, gardening, taking daily trips to Home Depot, being a member of the Our Lady of Hope prayer group and watching all sports, especially his hometown Philadelphia teams. He loved being outdoors and most of all spending time with his family. Arturo was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Arturo was the beloved husband of Marcy ( nee Rafanan) for 47 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Janette Druffner (Edward) and Anne Marie Pabustan. Lolo will be greatly missed by his granddaughter Malaina Jane. He is also survived by his sister Elvira, brother Rafael, and was preceded in death by his sister Rosa, and brothers Leonardo, Crecencio, and Norberto.

Relatives and friends are invited to Arturo's Life Celebration on April 3rd from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Geitner-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 6230 N. 5th St. Philadelphia PA 19120, and on Saturday April 4th from 9 am to 11 am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 5200 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19141 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 am.
