Tribute & Message From The Family

Sarah Elizabeth Brehm (nee Eberhart), of North Wales PA since 1957 until her recent move to Silverstream Nursing Center, peacefully passed on November 13th, 2020. She was delighted to have reached her 90th birthday in July. Born in Pottstown, PA July 27, 1930, Sarah was the daughter of the late Rev. Ephraim Leroy Eberhart, and Sarah Matilda (Clay) Eberhart.

Sarah graduated from Lansford High School in 1948 and continued on to begin nurses training. While she loved her nursing training, she realized becoming a wife and mother was an even greater dream, and soon married the love of her life, Ken.

While raising her family, she began working for Acme Supermarkets as a cashier and was later promoted to Customer Service Representative. She made many friends during that time and retired after 34 years of service. She went on to work part-time at the Lansdale News Agency as a cashier. This enabled her to meet many more people and to see old friends.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Lee Brehm Sr., Sarah was the loving mother of Kenneth Lee Brehm Jr and his wife, Pamela, and John Leroy Brehm Sr.; cherished grandmother of Kenneth Brehm III and his wife, Jacqueline; John Brehm and his wife, Tara; Amy (Brehm) Eames and her husband, Christopher; Alison and Kimberly Moore; admired mother-in-law of Craig Moore; and greatly loved great-grandmother of Evyn and Hannah Leberknight, Ryan Moore, and Simon Brehm. Sarah was preceded in death by her younger brother John Leroy Eberhart, Sr., her daughter-in-law Cynthia Moore and great-grandson Michael Andrew Gardner.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sarah's Life Celebration on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton from 1-2 PM, followed by her memorial service at 2PM, interment will be held privately.

Condolence & Memory Journal

I enjoyed visiting with Liz, as I knew her. She always had a cup of tea and a little sweet for me. She kept a positive attitude despite difficulties. It made visiting a pleasure. I miss our chats.
