Condolence & Memory Journal

I was so sorry to hear of Dawn's passing. I worked with her for many years at EPA. She was always so helpful. She was a very dedicated researcher and always found what I was looking for. I also enjoyed just chatting with her down in the library or in the hallways. My thoughts are with her friends and family. May the many happy memories of Dawn help you during this difficult time.

So many lovely memories of riding my bike down River Road to see Dawn and her wonderful parents. There was always a warm welcome. We would play in the cement fish pool or a barn. I can picture, like yesterday, her house and a slumber party held after we all went to see the movie 'Where the Boys Are'. Dawn and our years as classmates will stay in my memories forever. Sincere condolences to the Neal family in this very difficult year. Bobby Jo

I am so sorry to hear about Dawn! She was the best librarian and most thoughtful coworker. She always knew exactly where to find that hard-to-find piece of information and gave our patrons such wonderful support in doing their jobs. And I always enjoyed being included in her trips to the ballet! Know you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I knew Dawn from working at EPA in Philadelphia. She was great at what she did and was, quite simply, one of the nicest persons I ever met.

Dawn was always a great help to me when seeking information in the EPA library. She was committed as a librarian and performed her work cheerfully. We often would stop and talk for a few minutes after she obtained a book or article for me. I missed those conversations after she retired as I think we both found them a nice respite to the daily grind. Dawn knew I had aspirations to be a librarian and she patiently listened and provided suggestions as to how I might do so at the late stage of my career. She was sweet to do so
I read of Dawn’s passing in today’s Inquirer and just wanted to say a few words. I hope her family carries on with fond memories
