Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Dad, I didn't have the ability to stand up and make a speech at your funeral. Too many tears. But Maddy found the courage and did her best... I hope that you and mommy were up there holding hands watching over us girls, proud during our celebration for you. It was important to us that it reflected your unique personality. You were/are a great man. I hope that you carried over with you the admiration that the 4 of us girls have for you. You were a great husband and father. You made dreams come true. Although, my heart and my sisters' hearts feel lonely and right now lost just know that through everything, you are so loved. Tell mommy we miss her, too. May your heart be mended now.

To Dave I was his Sista, to me he was my Bro. Dave leaving us now and Dot leaving us 7 years ago is way too soon. These two had me in laughter tears too many times. When in time in need, Dot & Dave were there, no questions asked. Bill, me, Dot & Dave went out and raised hell many a times. Dave & Dot are now together once again raising hell like old times. One of the many things that stuck with me is Sista... "shoot first, ask questions later." Love you guys. Vicky Waite

Dave, what an amazing uncle you were! You where the life of the party. Always helpful when needed and always willing to teach us something new. Had amazing memories through my life on the amazing mountain trips, fishing, hunting and even teaching me more hands on activities. You where real uncle to me Dave and you will be truly missed. Love you and prayers your way.
