Tribute & Message From The Family

Loving Mother

Elisabeth O'Sullivan, 96, of Philadelphia died peacefully on August 1, 2021 at her home. She was born December 31, 1924 to the late Peter and the late Maria Kiehl in Mulheim am Main, Germany. Elisabeth is the beloved wife of the late Thomas O'Sullivan, mother of Maria Fusaro and Eileen O'Sullivan; she is also survived by her beloved feline companions: Cleo, Mokey, Angel, and Snowflake.

Elisabeth was born and raised in Germany where she met Thomas O'Sullivan at the close of WWII. They later married and she emigrated to the United States to raise their two children. The couple travelled extensively, though her most memorable trip to Italy occurred later in life. In her free time, Elisabeth enjoyed knitting and spending time with her Senior's Group.

Relatives and friends are invited to Elisabeth's Life Celebration from 9:00 A.M. and her Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at St. Helena's Church, located at 6161 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19120. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family hopes that you will make charitable donations in her name to the the Philadelphia SPCA via their website: https://www.pspca.org/tribute-memorial-gifts
