Tribute & Message From The Family

Message From The Family

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Atley are welcome to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Family Service Association of Bucks County or provide a memorial contribution to Compassion International , http://wishlist.compassion.com/ .

Our precious child Atley John Perez joined his Heavenly Father at the age of 16 months on September 15, 2021. Atley brought endless joy to his family with his bold personality, belly laughs and passion for exploration. Atley preferred to spend as much time as possible in the arms of his parents, with a front row view of whatever action was at hand. When dinner had to be made, Atley's big sisters entertained him with songs, dances, piles of toys and sometimes helped him empty the contents of the bottom drawers all over the kitchen floor. Atley loved to cruise around the coffee table, pull off the baskets filled with books and crawl up onto a lap to read his favorite one which could change quickly, sometimes mid-sentence. From the time he was an infant, Atley loved to be outside watching the leaves on the trees and his pre-bedtime routine often involved being carried around the yard while snuggling his beloved "raggie". More recently, his outdoor adventures focused on finding stones or sticks to hold in each hand or clapping in delight as his sisters blew bubbles for him.

Atley was loved through and through by his parents Lark and Heidi Perez and older sisters Myla and Kadyn. He is survived by his grandparents Thomas and Robin Perez and Daniel and Amy Shimp, and his great-grandmother Anna Mae Rathjens; his aunts and uncles Kestrel and Michael Repicky, Gabby and Brandon Shimp; and his cousins Esme Repicky and Silas and Rosanna Shimp.

Friends and family are invited to his funeral service at 11 am on October 2, 2021 at Grace Point Church, 592 Washington Crossing Road, Newtown, PA 18940 with visitation beginning at 10 am. Masks are required for the indoor service. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow outdoors until 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Atley are welcome to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Family Service Association of Bucks County or provide a memorial contribution to Compassion International.

Life Celebration entrusted to Swartz Givnish of Newtown, 215-968-3891.

Heidi and Lark: Your son was truly beautiful. He will always be with you. I struggle to understand why this would happen to such a wonderful child. You have a great family unit. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

We instantly fell in love with Atley after getting to know him over the summer. Atley loved riding around with Pop & watching the fireworks on the 4th of July. We are forever grateful for these memories & having Atley in our life.

What a beautiful and faith-filled tribute to Atley's life. Lark and Heidi, may the joy he brought to you, and the hope you have to see him in eternity, bring comfort to your hearts in these difficult days.
