Rosemond S. Guttroff of Blue Bell passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her home where she lived for 61 years with her family by her side. She was 88 years young. Born February 28, 1933 in Ayden, Pitt County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Alexander Simons and Almeta Williams, and the wife of George H. Guttroff with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

After graduating from high school, she moved to the "Big Apple" to study nursing. Rosemond received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Kings Park State Hospital, Suffolk County, New York. She worked as a nurse at Morris Manor and Regina Nursing Homes, along doing private duty throughout the years.

Rosemond (Rebel) is survived by her four children: Karen Espe (Steven) of Columbus, Ohio, Kathy Cappa of Reading, PA., George (Judi) of Carlsbad, CA. and Ken of Blue Bell, PA., seven grandchildren (Lauren, Greg, Nick, Kristen, Zack, Alexa, and Madison) and one great-grandchild (Millie).

Rosemond loved to play bridge, travel, cooking (Want some soup to take home?), and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A brief prayer service for Rosemond will be held on Tuesday October 5, at 11 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. Calling hours for family and friends will be from 10 AM to 10:50 AM at the funeral home. She will be interred privately, next to her late husband George, at Washington's Crossing National Cemetery. Curt and I offer our deepest condolences for Karen,Kathy George and Ken. Your mom was one of the sweetest people ever. I know she is up above at a bridge table with your Dad and Bernie and Ted. I will miss her so.
