MARGOLIS, BRUCE
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our beloved brother Bruce Margolis on Thursday, September 30th. Born, May 9, 1952, Bruce will be deeply missed by his twin sister Sue Margolis Detwiler of Sellersville, PA and older sister Bonnie Margolis of Stanford CT.
Raised in Mt. Airy and a lifelong Philadelphian, Bruce was predeceased by his mother Sylvia, father Daniel, and older brother Benjamin Robert Margolis of Pacific Palisades, CA. He is also survived by his devoted brother-in-law Lloyd Detwiler, two nephews, Brandon Detwiler and Jay Margolis and many cousins.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Vitas Hospice at Jefferson Methodist in South Philly who cared for Bruce with infinite kindness and love. Bruce had the most radiant smile and generous and loving heart. Loving connection is eternal.
Rest in Peace Bruce, you will always be very much alive in our hearts.
Services for Bruce will be held on Sunday, October 10 at Craft Givnish Funeral Home of Abington 1801 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001. Relatives and friends are invited to Bruce's Life Celebration visitation beginning at 2pm. Services will begin at 3pm. Interment will be private.

I'm deeply sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I only knew him thorough his dear sister Bonnie, but know that a very special person would inspire that kind of love, care and devotion. Sincere condolences to the family.

My brother had a kind and loving heartand a smile that would light up all on whom it shined. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all who showed him kindness and welcomeincluding the many friend he made amongst the employees at Temple University hospital who greeted him like family during his daily visit Epps there some years back, and the caring staff of Vitas Hospice at Jefferson Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia.
