Tribute & Message From The Family

Georgeine K. Seltzer (nee Williams) of Norristown, Pa passed away on October 4, 2021. Born June 7, 1946 to the late John and Georgeine (nee Kershaw) Williams, Georgeine was the beloved wife of 53 years of Richard E. Seltzer; loving mom of Richard E., II (Catherine), Kristi Fink (Troy), and Bradley; cherished grandmom of Joseph, Richard, III, Nora, John, Daniel, Benjamin, and Sarah. Loving sister in law to John Peale and Margaret Smith. She is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Georgeine was preceded in death by her dear sister Claudette Peale.
Georgeine was a member of Phi Gamma Rho, a Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Georgeine was a lifelong member of the Hancock Fire Department where her husband Richard was a long term Volunteer Fire Fighter; she was a lifetime member of the Hancock Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary; and a lifetime member of the PA State Association's Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Seltzer had quite a range of interests and talents, her number one interest was of course her loving family whom she dedicated her life to until her death. Some of her interests were arts & crafts where she made many friend's and family's cross stitch ring bearer's pillows and hankies for the brides. Georgeine's other interest were knitting and sewing where she made countless Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls and sock monkey's for friends and family. Along with Cross Stitching, Knitting and Sewing she loved to doodle and draw. Georgeine would often travel to the shore, the casino, the flower show, the Reading Phillies, and craft shows in Leesport, just to name a few. Georgeine loved to dance and was often found on the dance floor at many of weddings and fire convention events. Every week day you could find Georgeine watching her favorite soap opera General Hospital which she watched faithfully for many many years. Among all these talents and interest Georgeine's family was her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to Georgeine's Life Celebration on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton from 10-11:50 AM, followed by her funeral service at 12 Noon; interment to follow at Montgomery Baptist Cemetery.

Dearest Georgie,
My Mom went to Heaven in 2007. You were a Mom, a dear friend, and an angel to me (and Steve) since then! I never saw you for one day without a smile on your face! You were someone to emulate and admire. I will miss you SO much. I hope Steve greeted you in Heaven and I hope you got a chance to meet my mother, Norma, Steve's mother, Claire, and many others who have gone "home." I can't wait to join all of you there, as it must be beyond anything we can begin to imagine! Have a beautiful time!! I love you, Sweetie!! "L"
