Tribute & Message From The Family

Carol Ann Santangelo (nee Modica) of Blue Bell passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 68. Born on August 18, 1953 to the late Samuel and Katherine (nee Alba) Modica, Carol was the loving mother of Dana Barth-Wagner (Michael),
Joseph Santangelo (Kristina), and Justin Santangelo (Kelly); beloved grandmother of Robert, Emma, Kate, Michael, Clara, and Timothy; and dear sister to Samuel Modica (Linda) and Linda Haney.

Carol was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Raising her children was her greatest gift and her greatest love was her family. She instilled in her children strong values that have served them well. She especially loved her role as CaCa, the name her grandchildren affectionately called her. Carol made friends everywhere she went. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to Carol's Life Celebration on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at St. Helena Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422 from 9-10:15, followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM; interment will be held privately.
Family care entrusted to Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton.

To Dana, Mike and all of the Wagner and Santangelo family, we are terribly sorry for your loss. While we never had the pleasure of meeting Carol Ann, in knowing her daughter Dana, we know her to have been a smart, wonderful and caring person and naturally a great mom, wife and friend. Our condolences and love - Tiffany, Laurence and the Valls family.

My dear friend loved without judgement, gave without exceptions, shared without measure, spoke only in words of comfort. These are the gifts she left us. Peace ...it is yours now.
