Tribute & Message From The Family

Terri Lynn Wilson, age 58, entered eternal rest on December 6, 2021 at her home in Bensalem, PA.

Born April 10, 1963 to Helen and Charles Wilson, Terri was the youngest of six girls. She and her best friend, Gayle, also her niece were just five months apart in age. As children they were inseparable.

Terri grew up in Newtown, PA, and became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church at a young age. She participated in Sunday School and sang with the Youth Choir. After graduating from Council Rock High School, she fulfilled her dream of moving to New York City where she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. Unfortunately, the early death of her mother brought her back home to Newtown where she went to work and enrolled at Bucks County Community College.

An avid fan of all sports, Terri could often be found watching a baseball game or her favorite sport, tennis. She was also known to be an excellent cook. Terri was thriving as a young adult working and vacationing with her sister Pat, until she developed mental health related issues. Eventually, Terri moved into a group home for several years before moving to Bensalem. Though life became challenging for her, Terri remained a loved, loyal and kind friend to those closest to her. We are deeply saddened as a family.

Preceded in death by her loving parents Helen (Holden) and Charles Wilson; sister Patricia Goswami, and nephew Brian Rector. Terri will be interred with her oldest sister Doris W. Randolph who recently passed away as well. Left to cherish her memory are sisters Joan W. Jackson, Carolyn W. Rector, Lois W. Rector; nephews David Jackson, Guy Randolph; nieces Gayle Evans, Connie Caul and Tara Rector as well as a host of in-laws, great nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to her public viewing to be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 10 – 11:30am at Macedonia Baptist Church, 218 N. State Street, Newtown, PA 18940. Homegoing Services will be private for family and close friends. Interment will follow at Lighthouse Hill Cemetery, Newtown, PA. For everyone's safety, all attending must wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

For those who are unable to attend in person, services will simultaneously be livestreamed using the Zoom platform.
