Patrick, I work at an independent care facility and the Concierge just handed me the obituary from the paper and said "read this and when you get to the end you will be in tears" and so I sit here reading the paper and I could imagine the whole story in my head. I have to say that when you described all her qualities, I said to myself that that is how I want to be remembered. You are so fortunate to have such a wonderful mom and memories of her. Thank you for sharing this inspiring experience. My mom is 87 and has dementia and I am sure we will be writing an obituary soon. She is just as amazing as your mom too. This is certainly hard however such a celebration of life as well! If I could, I would fill her memorial with thousands of roses! Much love and you are not alone. XOXO

Patrick: You don't know me, but I just finished reading the tribute to your Mother in the Inquirer. I don't recall ever reading a life story so descriptive, expressive and well written. She sounds like an amazing person.
My condolences to you on your loss. May these memories of her comfort you in days ahead.

Patrick, Please know that I am thinking of you during this very difficult time. I have fond memories of Aunt Rosie at the Lamina's house (my second home growing up since Rita and Nick were my best friends growing up). Your Mom was always so nice & friendly to me and I know my Mom enjoyed her company as well. Know that she is now at peace and you have an AMAZING guardian angel to watch over you (so that you still wear your booties in the snow). Take care. Stay safe!

Thank you for your loving tribute to your mother, Patrick. It made her presence felt in a special way, especially for those of us who didn't have the pleasure of knowing her. (except through her son)! My condolences -- may her memory always gladden your heart.

Rose I will miss you and our phone talks. I'm so sorry I didn't get to visit with you again. You and I had so many likes. I will look at the pictures I have and always remember a beautiful person. I have one regret that I didn't get to know you sooner. Love you❤
