Tribute & Message From The Family

John W. Angeny, Jr., "Jack", passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022 surrounded by his children; he was 90 years old. Devoted husband to the late Patricia Ann "Pat" (nee Smith) for 59 years before her passing in 2016. Jack was born in Philadelphia to the late Doris (nee Wood) and John Sr. He is survived by his children; Jack Angeny (Kim), Karen Doughtery (Bud), Kim Quigley, and Kate Aspen (John); loving grandchildren, Jack, Nick (Michelle), Shannon (Martin), Chuck (Laura), Courtney (John), Amanda (Marques), Liz (Austin), Alicia, Kayla (Barry), Karly, and Rachel; and treasured great-grandfather to Morgan, Caleb, Brianna, Tessa, Carter, Colin, Hanna, Connor, Sienna, LJ, Jameson, Brayden, Matthew, Emery, Everett, Madelyn, Barry, and Natalie. He was completely devoted to his family.

Jack enjoyed working in Wildwood throughout his youth on the boardwalk or at the family run casino/boat rental business. A graduate of Northeast High School and Wharton Business School, he was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He worked his entire career in International Banking. An avid athlete, Jack loved bowling and playing baseball and softball in various leagues.

His work ethic was undeniable; disciplined, detail oriented, and conscientious, he was often recognized for perfect attendance. He raised his family as was raised; knowing the Lord, attending Bethany Church of the Brethren and more recently, Covenant Presbyterian Church in North Cape May after retiring to the Villas, New Jersey.

He was truly a remarkable man and will be dearly missed by his family and all who know him.
