Marilyn A. Laurie (nee – Rumsey) passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2022 at age 75. She was born October 1, 1946 to the late Charles J. Rumsey, Jr and the late Catherine V. Rumsey (nee – Keller) in Philadelphia. Marilyn was the beloved sister of Charles J. Rumsey III and his wife MaryCarol, Donna Benson and Bill Wargo, and Robert Rumsey and Faith; she is also survived by a loving extended family full of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marilyn's Life Celebration on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at St. Anselm's Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Road, Philadelphia 19154 from 10:00 A.M. and to her Funeral Mass at ­­­­­­­11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Marilyn was so close to me as a friend & sister, we always did things together, I will miss her always. I give all my sorrow to Donna & family for this lost of a special sister, aunt & friend, she is now in peace and happy with her parents and other loved ones

I only met Marilyn a few years ago but liked her right away. She was a lovely person. But she is in a much better place now and we will see her again. Praying for you Donna and for all her family and friends.
