Dwayne Alan Gessner
Dwayne Alan Gessner, 55, of Newtown, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, March 9 at Jefferson Hospital of Neuroscience, Philadelphia, Pa.
A lifelong resident of Bucks County, he was born April 20, 1966 in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the son of Adele and the late John Gessner. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School and Middle Bucks Area Vocational School (now Middle Bucks Institute of Technology) Class of 1984.
Dwayne Gessner was married to Hannah Pickering Gessner and resided in Upper Makefield Township with their three children.
Dwayne was a master carpenter and woodworker. He formerly served as a volunteer firefighter with Upper Makefield Fire Company. He was an avid bowler and his love of nature found him sharing his camping, hunting and fishing adventures with friends and family. Dwayne's favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends and he will long be remembered for his generous nature and willingness to help others.
Dwayne Gessner is survived by his wife, Hannah, children Jupiter (nee Hayley Elizabeth), Abigail Grace and Alana Clare, sons Christopher (Kristen) and Justin (Michelle), mother Adele Gessner, brothers John Jr., Thomas and Gary Gessner, and sister Carol Frey. Also, he is survived by his grandchildren Kayden, Justin, Lee, Aysen and Alyxis, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Nancy and George Pickering, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Meeting for Worship in the manner of Friends (Quaker) will be held at Middletown Friends Meetinghouse, 453 West Maple Avenue, Langhorne, PA on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dwayne Gessner's memory may be made for the support of the Gessner Family to Middletown Friends Meeting, 453 West Maple Avenue, Langhorne PA 19047 (note Gessner Fund on the memo line).

Sending our condolences to all of Dwayne's family, so sorry for your loss. I knew Dwayne from school and have many great memories of bowling with him,and his family, at the old Newtown Lanes and at Delmor Lanes. I will always remember his infectious smile and his kind spirit.
