Tribute & Message From The Family

Richard Arthur Enders passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Born in Abington, PA in 1953, Rich grew up in Northeast Philadelphia where he graduated from George Washington High School in 1970. He received an accounting degree from Drexel University in 1975. Soon after college he started his real estate career with Century 21 Connie Boyle in Levittown and eventually purchased the firm. Rich took great pride in helping customers navigate the real estate process. This single office grew, with the help of a few great partners, to multiple real estate offices, known as Century 21 Alliance, a title insurance and mortgage company serving PA & NJ. In 2014, he sold the real estate company and partially retired. He wasn't ready to leave the real estate industry just yet, so he continued to assist buyers and sellers in Bucks County and the surrounding areas. He also operated two small companies purchasing and renovating distressed properties in the area.

Rich lived for many years in Levittown, PA, before moving for a short time to Washington Crossing, PA, where he liked to go for bike rides and long walks on the canal path. In 2019, he realized his lifelong dream of moving to South Carolina to enjoy retirement. He spent many of his days golfing, gardening, feeding the turtles and birds, and enjoying the warm weather. But his greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughters and watching them grow up.

Rich was a loyal Philadelphia Flyers fan and season ticket holder for more than 40 years. He had some great memories and photos of the ticker tape parades after their Stanley cup wins in 1974 & 1975. His love of hockey was passed on to both of his kids, as he loved taking them down to games. Rich was an avid Philadelphia sports fan as well, cheering on the Eagles "Iggles", Phillies, 76ers & Union whenever he could.

Rich was a dedicated board member for Easter Seals of Southeastern PA for many years and worked hard to support the fundraising events with his real estate companies. He really enjoyed organizing fundraisers like golf outings, softball games and "beef & beers", for the charity.

Rich is lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Enders, his daughter Allyson Kern (David), his son Jeffrey Enders (Natalie), his three granddaughters, Anabel, Jillian, & Ellie and his soon to be grandson, as well as his sister Wendy Davis (Ed) and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to greet Rich's family on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, 323 E. Washington Ave., Newtown, PA 18920. His interment will be handled privately.
