Tribute & Message From The Family

Geraldine A. Witkowski passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was 91.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter to the late Charles and Alice Witkowski. She was raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, along with her siblings, Helen, Leon (deceased), and Virginia. She is also preceded in death by four of her children: Linda, Paul, Susan and Alexandra Camarata.

Geraldine is survived by her two loving children, Christine Ferraro (Jules) and Lee Camarata (Cindy), many nieces and nephews, as well as her nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Besides being a dedicated wife, homemaker and mother to her six children, she worked a number of jobs throughout their childhood to make sure her children could get a good education, finally retiring from Siemens in New Jersey.

Geri loved and was loved by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and was famous for coming through the door on Christmas loaded down with presents. Family members could always look forward to her famous baked goods, especially on holidays. She was an excellent fisherwoman (often beating out the men) and loved the beach and the ocean.

Our sincerest and most heartfelt thanks go out to the many friends she made while living at the Masonic Village. Everyone there, without exception, made a home for her and welcomed her into their hearts. We are so very thankful that we were graced with her love and support through the years. All who knew her will truly miss Geri; she left a space that no one else can fill.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel at the Masonic Village in Warminster, 850 Norristown Road, Warminster, PA, 18974.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Hi Witkowski family. As I read this obituary, I didn't realize all the things that Geri did. She spoke of earlier memories in her life, her love of the ocean, fishing and the mountains. She was a very special person to me and I will remember her always. (blond :) Trish Elker, Masonic Activities.
