Tribute & Message From The Family

Kathleen McDonald passed away peacefully with family at her side on March 30, 2022. She was 81 years old. Kathleen was born in Philadelphia to the late Catherine and William Morton. She is survived by her beloved children, Joseph Jordan, Timothy Jordan, Marie Baker (Dominick), Kathryn Eder (Tom); 3 step children; Charles McDonald Jr.(Susan), Sharon Frey (Ed), Brian McDonald (Jackie); 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her living brother, William Morton (Eleanor); and many adoring nieces and nephews. Kathleen is preceded in death by her son, James Jordan, infant brother, Charles Morton, sister Anne Przybylinski (Henry), and her husband of 41 years, Charles (Bud) McDonald.

Kathleen attended grade school at Old St. Joseph's, she went on to Little Flower high school and has been dear friends with her sorority sisters for over 60 years. Her charisma was contagious and she was always the life of the party. She loved to dance and never passed up an opportunity to join a string band with a mummers strut, her favorite. She made friends wherever she went and will be truly missed by all. Not only was she a beautiful person inside and out, she was blessed with the voice of an angel. She could not attend an event without a request for her to sing, her ability to entertain was a natural gift and left a lasting impression on all. She was a devoted wife and loved the life her and Bud created. They retired in Florida and spent many happy years there. She was the greatest Mom and sacrificed so much for us at an early age. Thank you for all the love you gave us. May you rest in peace Mom and know your children will carry on your bright spirit and we will never ever forget "The Wonder of You" and "The Way we Were".

Relatives and friends are invited to Kathleen's Life Celebration on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. A prayer service will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
