Tribute & Message From The Family

Christopher Paul Kennedy, of Feasterville-Trevose, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2022 at age 44. He was born on February 27, 1978 in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania to the late Patrick W. Kennedy, Sr. and Barbara Andersen. Christopher was the husband of Holly Kennedy; loving father of Makayla Kennedy; brother of Patrick W. Kennedy, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Sean Kennedy and his wife Ashley, John Paul Andersen, Jr. and his wife Nicole, and Ricky Rudy; uncle of Elisabeth Kennedy.

Christopher was raised and educated in Philadelphia, a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Class of 1996. During his Senior Year, Chris was selected as the Ryan Raider's Football Team MVP for the 1995-1996 school year. Chris became an armchair quarterback and avid fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Penn State Nittany Lions. During his working years, Christopher was a member of the New Jersey Local 9 Plumbers Union. In his free time, he had a natural curiosity and love of learning, an exotic fish and aquarium enthusiast, and skilled handyman.

The highlight of Christopher's life was raising his daughter Makayla, where he truly succeeded as the MVP. In honor of Christopher, please hug your children a little tighter tonight.

Family and friends are invited to Christopher's Life Celebration on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to be concluded with a Family Service at 7:00 P.M. at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, located at 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19154. On Monday, May 2, 2022, family and friends are again invited for his Life Celebration beginning at 9:00 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martha's Church, located at 11321 Academy Road. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Makayla's Continuing Education Fund. Please contact Holly or Makayla for information.

I remember meeting him once at a family reunion. Spend every other summer back East with Grandma beathard and going to these things I have an older picture of one of the family reunions we did with Aunt Sally, my grandparents and my mom who's Barbara J beathard. Sorry for your loss he was the same age as I am.
