Tribute & Message From The Family

The world lost an incredible human being when Camillo DeGregorio died on Monday, April 25, 2022.
Cam was born to Henry and Viola DeGregorio on November 10, 1945. In addition to his parents, he had an older brother, Henry. He also has a younger sister, Rita.
Cam grew up in South Philadelphia as a member of St. Monica's and St. John Neumann.
He especially loved spending his summers at his Grandmother's house at the Jersey Shore. He would ride his bike around town and work the games on the boardwalk.
Cam was drafted into the Army and he was stationed in Germany.
Cam continued his education at St. Joseph's University and the Wharton School of Business.
Cam fell in love with floor laying. He became a Union floor layer with Local 1823 in Philadelphia. He was known to walk around, stare at floors, and comment how it was done.
Aside from work, Cam liked to participate in a bowling league, a softball league, and Club 65. He also enjoyed watching movies, especially James Bond. Cam was an avid sports fan of baseball, football, and hockey.
When possible, Cam enjoyed traveling to Florida, Las Vegas, and the Jersey Shore.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diana and their daughter, Jacquelyn.
Family and friends are invited to Cam's Life Celebration, St Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax St., Phila., PA 19136, from 9:30-11am, Saturday, April 30th, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment private.
Flowers, a donation to the American Kidney Fund (, or to the American Heart Association ( is appreciated.

So sorry to hear this news. A really old friend who was a great guy and wonderful person. Hadn't seen him for a while but will never forget the great times we had together a number of years ago. Rest well old friend-you'll be truly missed!
