Tribute & Message From The Family

Noris Wallsmith, of Bensalem, PA, but originally from Panama City, Panama, passed away peacefully with her family on June 18, 2022 at sunrise, at the age of 71. She was the beloved mother of Michael (Linda) Wallsmith, Donald Lee Wallsmith, Jr., and Julie Greenbaum. She was the beloved daughter of Bellina Esclopis and Jose Montenegro.

Noris found her calling helping others early in life. Her door was always open for friends and strangers to talk. Her calling to help others also carried into her role as a claims examiner, then later as a program coordinator at a food pantry and as a spiritual healer and teacher. Noris knew what it truly meant to live in the moment and loved to garden and dance. While going for walks with her daughter, she would often break out in dance and song. Her passion for life was contagious. Her depth of compassion had no boundaries, and she was truly selfless and courageous in everything that she did.

As a child, Noris was always fascinated by the sunrise and would often wake up in those early hours in her parents' house to watch it rise from her window. She passed in that same morning glow upon her face.

She will be deeply missed by all who have known her.

Friends and family are invited to Noris' Life Celebration on Thursday, June 30th from 6-8 PM at McGhee-Givnish Funeral Home - 690 Belmont Ave Southampton, PA 18966.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Noris' name may be made to the Penn Museum Field Work Fund at: https://giving.apps.upenn.edu/fund?program=MUS&fund=042344. Condolence & Memory Journal

Let's celebrate a life,
that touched the world,
a woman who truly lived in the moment,
and loved without limit.
Let us remember Noris
as the free spirit that she was,
a force to be reckoned with,
a compassionate soul who truly
knew what it meant to be alive.

The Vessel held her laughter, sweetened over lifetimes
Layered with the strength of The Lioness,
the dignity of A Queen.
Star-kissed and dancing over waves of compassion
Led by visions, a Mystic walked on this earth and returned to purest light. ( written with endless love for Sis )
