Obituary

Anna C. (nee Petrella) Pindyski, 82 of Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by her family on September 26, 2017. She was the daughter to the late Dominic Petrella and Julia (nee DiBacco) and sister of the late Carmen Petrella. Anna is survived by her adoring children Stephen Pindyski (Danielle) and Diane Marie Waninger (Patrick); her four grandchildren Kurt, Lindsay, Meghan, and Shae; and her sister Angela Ward and loving nieces, nephews and sister in law.

Let me tell you about my mom:
My mom is one of the warmest, sweetest, funniest and strongest woman I know. She is a woman who has given all she had to her family in good times and bad. Someone who has never let her children down, put their needs first and never did for herself. She's made her home a wonderful place to be, to want to go back to and one you never want to leave. She loves her grandchildren with all her heart. My mom reads the newspaper front to back, watches every news station, cooking show, never misses QVC and watching re-runs of Chuck Norris in Texas Walker Ranger. She loves hot peppers, dollar store shopping, a night out to eat or a trip to AC. Her heart is big and her love is strong for everyone around her. I am eternally grateful for My Mother and the woman she is. I will forever be proud to be called her Daughter.

An adorable, beautiful, warm, loving, compassionate woman who was funny with an affectionate laugh.
Fun to talk to with - a heart of gold.
HUGE Phillies fan!
She would say, "Troodaloo" instead of  saying "goodbye" - because to her, saying goodbye, meant forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to Anna's Life Celebration Tuesday starting at 9:30AM followed by her funeral mass at 11AM at Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Church 11024 Knights Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Anna's memory to St. Judes Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
