Obituary

Anna M. Ciccarelli, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2021. She was 90 years old. Born April 21, 1931, in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Rose (Felore) Ciccarelli, and the beloved wife of the late John Picard.

Anna is survived by her beloved daughter, Roseann Fowler and her husband Ken, three grandchildren: Kris Fowler (wife-Mindy), Titus Fowler and Alicia Gromicko (husband-Benjamin) and eight great grandchildren: Olivia, Solomon, Natasha, Nickolas, Anna, Willow, Felix and Mydland. Anna is one of 11 children and is survived by her dear brother, Carmen Ciccarelli. Growing up in a large family during the depression, she knew the importance of family and hard work. She was employed by the Sharp Corporation, a pharmaceutical packaging company for 32 years. She became a machine operator in a management position. She earned the respect of her co-workers for her commitment and dedication to her job and made many life long friends.

Anna was a devout catholic and a member of the Holy Savior Church. She had a very giving spirit and her personality was as big as her heart. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend.

Anna's biggest joy was her family. She was very close to her grandchildren and loved to be with them as they grew up. She always made sure they had fun and continued to do the same with her great grandchildren. She was passionate about cooking. She always hosted traditional Italian holiday meals and handed down her recipes to her grand children and family members. She also loved flowers and her vegetable garden. She planted one every year to the age of 89. She enjoyed many years of dancing to Big Band Orchestra music. She was the family's great story teller. Anna was an avid sports fan who followed the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles.

She blessed all of our lives with the stories and lessons she shared as she grew up and experienced life. She left us with so many things to cherish. She will be dearly missed by all, but the love and sweet memories she imprinted on our hearts will sustain us, and will live on in generations to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Anna's Life Celebration on Monday June 28, from 9 AM to 9:50 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Holy Savior Church 407 E. Main St. Norristown.
