Anna M. Quader Relaxed with friends at the Summit pool and found joy in her many grandchildren, 99 Anna M. Quader of Brigantine, N.J., formerly of Summit, N.J., passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2016, with her daughter, Joanne, by her side. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the life celebration and viewing for Anna on Sunday evening, May 8, from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Keates-Plum Funeral Home, 3112 W. Brigantine Ave. Brigantine. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, Brigantine. Interment will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 10, at St. Theresa Cemetery in Summit, N.J. Anna was born on July 22, 1916, in Scranton, Pa. She was the daughter of Mary and Joseph Koizen, and was the youngest of their 11 children, all of whom predeceased Anna. She was married to the late Edmund F. Quader for 51 years. Anna resided in Summit for 43 years. She worked in the cafeteria at Chubb Insurance in Short Hills, N.J. Anna was an active parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila R. C. Church. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time at the Summit pool with her group of silver-haired ladies. Anna moved to Brigantine in 1998. Anna is survived by her three daughters, Joanne (Joseph) Messick of Brigantine; Regina (Francis) Maloney of Tucson, Ariz., and Annette (David) Van Meerten of Vero Beach, Fla. The absolute joys of her life were her 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Anna was predeceased by one grandchild and is survived by nine. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local hospice in Anna's name.
