Anthony (Tony) D. Quattrone, 71, of Buckingham Springs passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2013 after he fought a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Philadelphia and has resided in Bucks County for most of his life. He is survived by Judy, his beloved wife of 48 years.
Tony worked for years as a steel worker, however; he pursued his passion for cooking in his later years. He loved a party. After retiring from his job, he became the social director at Buckingham Springs. Tony was an active member of the Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Lions Club. He is a past district Governor of district 14 R of the Lions Club.
He is survived by his sister Kathleen Rutledge and her husband Patrick; his children Laurie Moore and her husband Frank; Jennifer Adair and her husband Jim; Heather Ward and her husband Michael. Tony has five grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Lauren, Madison and Mackenzie.
Family & friends are invited to Tony's Life Celebration, from 9-11AM, Wed. Dec. 18th at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902 followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Building Fund or the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
