Obituary

Carl W. Kleinert, Jr. "Butch", passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 7, 2019, at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville at the age of 69. Born in Norristown on April 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Carl Walter Kleinert, Sr. and Ruth C. (nee Erskine). Carl was a hard worker proudly for Genuardi 's Supermarket as their "Meat Manager" for 45+ years . Butch was a dedicated Philadelphia Phillies Fan and collected bobbleheads and all kinds of memorabilia. He was very fond of Pete Rose and the Charlie Hustle. He was always excited to attend Spring Training with his beloved Carole in Clearwater, Florida. He and his wife often frequented flea markets and yard sales. Vacationing was a big love for him and the family for many, many years at Lake Harmony. Butch had many interests but none more important then family, family always came first.


Carl is survived by his devoted wife Carole Kleinert (nee Eicherly ) , loving father of Virginia and Melissa Kleinert, Tracy Monaghan (Jeff), Adam Kleinert and Brielle Kleinert (Frank). Brother of Sharon Fields(Barry), Dot Guille (Steve) Donna Kleinert and Diane McKeon (Tommy). Grandfather of Shawn, Abigail, the Twins Evan and Easton, and Frankie. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to the celebrate Carl's life on Sunday Evening, October 13th at the Reformed Church of The Ascension, 1700 W. Main St., Norristown PA 19403 from 6:00pm till 9:00pm and again Monday Morning beginning at 10:00am, with his Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazier PA.


In lieu of flowers family requests donations in Carl's memory for a honorary memorial to be placed in his name at the Phillies Stadium. Please inquire with Melissa for details.
