Charles was the oldest of five including John, Robert, Richard and James. He graduated from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia in 1955 and is survived by his wife of 53 years Alice (Duffy) Bogle, and his children, Lisa (Michael) Owens, Kevin (Becky) Bogle, Allison Cordivari and Brian (Megan) Bogle, his grandchildren Michael (Amanda), Timothy, Andrew, Natalie, Giacomo, Nicholas, Devin, Mallory and his great granddaughter Cameron. Charles was a reservist in the US Air Force and recently retired from Land America Title Company after 50 plus years of service in the title business. He enjoyed a life of leisure upon retirement and with his wife he traveled to Italy, Ireland, Germany, China and all points in between. Charles moved from Philadelphia to Brigantine, New Jersey in 1972 and was instrumental in the promotion of youth sports on the island. He was the President of the Brigantine Little League, baseball coach of the Paul's Hardware Little League team, Treasurer of the Brigantine Rams, charter member of the Knights of Columbus, member of the Brigantine Lions Club and served as a Eucharist Minister for St. Thomas Church in Brigantine. Charles' spare time was spent on the beach in Brigantine sharing the treasures of the island that drew him from Philadelphia. He enjoyed golfing with his wife, children and grandchildren in New Jersey and Florida and his favorite pastime was watching his children and grandchildren's sports activities including football, little league baseball, rowing events on the Schuylkill River, high school football and baseball games, as well as college football games. Charles was a devoted Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.
