Obituary

Clarence E. Watson (Snitz) passed away on Sunday, May 11th at the age of 87. He was born to Florence (Hems - deceased) and Oscar Watson (deceased) on January 3, 1927 in what was then called Oxford Valley. "Snitz" was an uncomplicated and quiet man, who loved his family and took great pride in his grandsons. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946 aboard the USS Cabildo in the South Pacific. He was an avid gardener who had the magic to make anything grow. For more than 30 years he was employed at, and eventually retired from General Motors in Ewing, NJ. He spent many years bowling with his friends at the Fairless Hills bowling lanes. During the later part of his life, he developed a love and a talent for detailed carpentry work. Snitz is sadly missed by his family, but will now be at peace.

He was a loving husband to Isabelle (nee Margerum, deceased) and a wonderful father to Linda (Robert) Fauteux and Bonnie (Patrick) Dow. He is also survived by his grandsons; Matthew Fauteux, Christopher Dow, Scott Fauteux and John Dow. Snitz was one of 12 siblings: Margaret Johnson (deceased), Katherine Pape (deceased), Edward Watson (deceased), Dorothy Fusco, Rilla Demos (deceased), Joseph Watson (deceased), Cletus Watson (deceased), Patricia McDonald, Grace Garrett (deceased), Frederick Watson (deceased), and Jerome Watson.
