Obituary

D. Elaine Connor, 82, of Brigantine passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday February 21, 2017.

Elaine was born in Philadelphia. She was employed as a nursing assistant at the Brigantine North Middle School. Elaine, along with her late husband Bob, were foster parents to many children for the Arch Diocese of Philadelphia Catholic Charities. She was a member of the Brigantine Elk's Lodge #2428, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was an usher and greeter at the 11AM Mass at St Thomas Church.

Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Connor. She is survived by her daughter Terry Fetrow and her husband Jack and her sons Bob Connor and Andrew Connor. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her brother Thomas Robinson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Elaine's Life Celebration and visitation on Saturday March 4, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:45am at St Thomas Church, 8Th Street and Brigantine Ave Brigantine. Elks Service will be held at 10:45AM. Funeral Mass will follow at 11am. Interment is private at the family's convenience.
