Dolores M. Strittmatter was welcomed into heaven on July 12, 2020 with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia on July 7, 1942 she was the beloved daughter of the late Dominic and Domenica "Minnie" DiSandro (nee Amodei).

Upon graduating Little Flower High School, Dolores met the love of her life, Barry Strittmatter and their family blossomed. She was a devoted wife for 53 years, cherished mother to Scott Strittmatter and Dina Strittmatter (Fred Wawner), doting grandmother to Sam, Barry Joe, Kalvin, Wyatte, Bear, Ali, Fischer, and Rosey, dear sister to the late Joseph DiSandro (the late Kay), Dominic DiSandro, Jr. (Helen), Barbara Bronisz (the late George), aunt to many and friend to all. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Dolores will be forever remembered for her sweet and feisty spirit. She had a remarkable way of making everyone around her laugh and feel special. Dolores exemplified hard work dedicating 26 years as the secretary for Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic School. She was generous beyond measure even receiving the "Volunteer of the Year" award from Catholic School Magazine. Dolores' beautifully bright personality touched the lives of so many. In her free time she loved to play tennis, enjoy coffee with friends, serve as a lunch lady, and travel the world, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dolores' Life Celebration on Thursday July 16, 2020 from 9 am to 10:50 am with her Funeral Mass to follow at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish of Plymouth Meeting, 3050 Walton Rd. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre.

Donations in Dolores' memory can be made to Holisticare Hospice.
