Dorothy E. Simmons "Dottie", age 82, of Horsham passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 3, 2012. Dorothy was born in Allentown, PA to Warren and Mary Ludwig. She earned an elementary education teaching degree from Kutztown State College. Dorothy was an avid golfer and bowler. She enjoyed neddlepoint, beachcombing and travel. Dorothy would light up a room with her sense of humor but her greatest joy was her family.

Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Curt Simmons, her three loving children Thomas (Eve), Timothy (Marie) and Susan D'Acquisto (Sam). Also surviving are her 7 grandchildren, Aaron, Michael, Evan, Kyle, Nolan, Lili and Kelly, her great-grandson Tyler and her step-brother Warren Ludwig. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Dottie's Life Celebration Saturday, March 17, 2012, starting 9:30 AM and to participate in her Memorial Service 11:00 AM from Craft/Givnish of Abington, 1801 Old York Rd.
