Edward "Norm" Ziegler passed away peacefully on November 5th 2017, surrounded by family. He was the beloved Father of 3 daughters, Cathy Carfagno of East Norriton, PA, Cheryl & Peter Auerbach of Groton, CT and Cindy & Mark Huston of Longwood, FL. He was a beloved Grandfather of Lindsay (Carfagno) & Kevin O'Brien, Jessica Carfagno, Brittany (Auerbach) & Chris Hebert, Oliver Auerbach, Paige Huston, Blair Huston and Reece Huston. He is also survived by 3 siblings, Dolores Doherty, twin brothers Ronald & Carol and Robert & Nancy Ziegler. He was predeceased by his brother Dennis Ziegler and his parents Anna (Stanko) and Edward Ziegler and his wife Mary Altomari. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Norm most certainly lived a full happy and successful life, loving family and friends and his 2 cats. He loved cars, buying and selling them. He loved playing cards, he enjoyed his mastery over multiple casinos, had a lifelong love for the Jersey Shore and frequenting his favorite establishments for fine food and drink. He enjoyed being a long term member of the Sandy Run Country Club.

He had a varied and successful work life. He had a primary and distinguished career with Nationwide Insurance as a district manager in Montgomery County. He enjoyed being an entrepreneur and owned two local restaurants, the Rising Sun Inn in Telford and The Golden Years Beef and Ale formerly located in Souderton.

He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He most recently happily resided at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, PA and there was no question this gentleman had a true zest for life and brought much happiness to others.
