Obituary

Eleanor B. Everetts (nee Bartley), age 87, of Glenside, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2018. She is predeceased by her parents John and Mary Jane (Fallon) Bartley. Eleanor is survived by her children Thomas Everetts and Michelle Pacula (William); grandchildren Genevieve Bocchino (Philip), Bridget Matthews (Daniel), and William Pacula Jr.; and great grandchildren Julia, Matthew, Luke, Jack, and Charlotte.

Eleanor was loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She raised two children, Michelle and Thomas, on her own during the 1960's...a time in America when being a single mother may have been an insurmountable feat....but not for "Elle." She worked as an Electrical technician at Honeywell for over 26 years to ensure you could provide for her family and give them the best life possible. As years progressed and her family expanded Eleanor continued taking care of those she loved...spending countless weekends with her grandchildren...teaching them life's wonderful lessons all along the way...teachings they hold dear to this day. Eleanor spent her life taking care of others and loved doing it. Her devoted family remembers Sunday dinners fondly where "Granny" would make a silly comment or shine through the conversation with deep words of wisdom that at times may be overlooked unless you listened closely. Eleanor was the matriarch of her family and her legacy lives on in those whose lives she touched so dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Eleanor's Life Celebration on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 starting at 8:15AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10AM at St. William's Roman Catholic Church 6200 Rising Sun Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19111. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to National Alliance on Mental Health would be greatly appreciated. To donate online at http://www.namimontcopa.org or to donate by mail send a check to NAMI PA, Montgomery County 100 W Main St Ste 204 Lansdale, PA 19446.
