Obituary

Elizabeth L. Reeder of New Hope passed away peacefully, at her home, and surrounded by her loved ones Saturday, June 29, 2013. She was 90 years young.
Born in Buckingham on the Livezey family farm, she was the daughter of Charles W. Livezey Sr. and Elsie Mae Stoop. She was wife to the late Bruce M. Reeder for 53 years. Libby, as she was known, is survived by daughter Kaye R. Lynch and son Jon L. Reeder (Colleen), along with two grand-daughters Lisa Beth Kuhnle (Paul), Brook Elizabeth Reeder, and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Paul Kuhnle, and Ellie Reeder Kuhnle. She is also survived by brother Charles W. Livezey, and was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Livezey who passed away in 1939.
Libby was a graduate of New Hope Solebury High School and went to work at the original Solebury National Bank that would eventually become the now PNC Bank in New Hope.
She cherished her family and enjoyed all the time she could spend with them. Libby was an avid Phillies and NASCAR fan (she and Bruce used to go to Daytona when they raced on half beach track). She loved her trips to the casino and crossword puzzles.
The family would like to thank Doylestown Hospice and Dr. Paul Spiro for their help, compassion and guidance through this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bucks County SPCA or Doylestown Hospital Hospice.
Family and friends are invited to Libby's Life Celebration, from 6-8PM Friday, July 5th and from 11AM-12PM Saturday, July 6th at Leaver/Cable of Buckingham, 4886 York Road, followed by her Funeral Service at 12PM. Interment will follow at Thompson Memorial Cemetery.
