Obituary

Errol L. Faunce, age 80, of Langhorne, PA died March 5, 2019 at Chandler Hall, Newtown. Born and raised in Philadelphia by Thomas and Elizabeth, he was a star quarterback and was inducted into the Neshaminy Hall of fame, was the first of his family to attend graduate school, and was a long-time instructor at Council Rock High School. He was a constant reader who was keenly interested in history, natural science and the environment. He was an avid outdoorsman whose leisure time was spent walking, hunting, and especially fishing. Later in life he became proficient at carving wooden decoy ducks and then acrylic painting. Errol loved, was loyal to, and is survived by his wife of 55 years Joan W. (Gutgesell), his sister Beverly Monteverde of Philadelphia, children Craig Howard (wife Gina) of Seattle and Natalie Lynn (husband Paul) Soucie of Roanoke, his grandchildren Lydia, Evelyn and Madeleine, and God. Family and friends are invited to Errol's Memorial Service at 1:30 pm Sunday March 24 at St. James Episcopal Church, 330 S. Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047.
