Obituary

Helen D. Morrin (Marzin) passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Symphony Manor Nursing Home in Feasterville, PA. She was 94 years old.
Born on July 12, 1927 to the late Francis and Marie Marzinko of Philadelphia, PA, Helen was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls School. She was affectionately known to many as an avid reader and historian of sorts having spent her career as a librarian, lastly at Bucks County Community College. She had many talents, one of which was the beauty of her playing the piano. Helen adored her fur babies, dogs and cats alike, over the years. She was a devoted friend always taking time to drop a line or caring card in the mail to let them know she was thinking of them. She loved enjoying a good meal at her favorite place, Moish and Itzy's and going to the beach with her sisters. But forever will she be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, and daughter, Kathleen (Morrin) Auchinleck. She is survived by her son, James Morrin (Kathleen) and son-in-law, James Auchinleck Agnieszka . She was the loving grandmother to Kathleen Najafian (Hadi), Jennifer Hartman (Rick), and Tara Devitt (Dan), James Auchinleck, Thomas Auchinleck (Ugochi), as well as, the beloved great-grandmother to 12.

She was sister to Joan Mary Sandt (Richard), Marie Carol Grugan (William), Francis Joseph Marzin, Sr., Elinor Christine Boylan (William, Jr.) and the late Norbert Francis "Bud" Marzin (Louise), Sara Irene "Sally" Weiss (Jerry), Mary Esther Marzin, and Rosemary Louise DiRosato (Anthony).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's Church, 81 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. Interment at Newtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Helen's honor to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/)

Family services are entrusted under the care of the Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, Newtown.
