Helena Ciotti (O'Boyle), 83 of Yardley, PA, died a Picking Manor, Newtown on September 30, 2017. Born in Bristol, PA, Helena was a life long Bucks Co. resident.

Helena is a graduate of Bristol High School and NYU Master Class, Music of Handel and an accomplished musician. She began her musical study at age 3 with her father Silvio Ciotti and she was the organist for St. Ann's Church for weddings and funerals at the age of 13. In 1965, Helena was selected to be the director of the Ecumenical Choir of Lower Bucks County where she conducted over 200 performances. The choir performed for 3 years on NBC station Sunday Morning Sacred Music Hour. She studied choral conducting and vocal training under several renowned conductors and vocal coaches. In 1975 she was asked to conduct the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus which performed at the 1976 Bicentennial Celebration. In 1978 she accepted the position of Music Director of Villa Victoria Academy, Trenton, NJ which appeared at the National Cathedral in Washington DC where she was the organist leading the Villa Victoria Academy Choir. Helena served as the Accompanist at the Mercer County Community College School of Performing Arts, the organist and substitute cantor at Temple Beth Torah, Philadelphia, the Music Director and organist at St. John the Evangelist Church, Morrisville, St. John the Baptist in Allentown, NJ and St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Yardley.

Helena is survived by her children, Desiree O'Boyle and Henry Osorio of Langhorne, John and Kim O'Boyle of Yardley, Brendan and Lisa O'Boyle of New Hope and Elena and Jim Harris of New Hope. She is the proud grandmother of Lisa Bradley, Alexandra Harris, Nicholas Harris, Brendan O'Boyle, Gabriella Harris and the devoted great grandmother of Amelia Liz Bradley. She is also survived by her sisters, Rita Bailey, Marie Gibson and Kathy Danieli.

Relatives and friends are invited to Helena's Life Celebration on Saturday, October 7 from 10 to 11 AM and to her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1 Riverstone Drive, New Hope, PA. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

In memory of Helena's love of flowers, the family would appreciate them in church.
