Obituary

Jack Frank Knight, of Langhorne PA, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the age of 87. A life time Langhorne resident, Jack was born to the late Raymond and Margaret Knight. He proudly served our country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Air Force. After serving in the war, Jack became a self employed contractor and later a building inspector for Middletown Township. He always had a fondness for wood working and working with his hands and enjoyed travelling with his wife, Elsie. What he loved most in life was being Pop Pop to his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.

Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jenn, and his brother-in-law, Major James Short, Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Elsie Emma (nee Nahm) Knight, his children, Steven (Peg Phillips) Knight, Kimberlee (Bruce) Jankowski, and Jeff (Leighanne) Knight, his grandchildren, Eric, Kira, Erin, Emily, James, and Sarah, and his great grandchildren, Elsie and Norah. He is also survived by his sisters, Martha Short and Rebecca (Harvey) Gray.

Family and friends are invited to Jack's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 14, from 6 PM – 7 PM, followed by his Funeral Service at 7 PM, at the Dunn Givnish Life Celebration Home, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Livengrin Foundation - Addiction Treatment Centers and Detox Centers at Livengrin.org.
