Obituary

On Friday, March 16, Jason James Wartman, of Pipersville lost his life-long battle with cystic fibrosis. He was surrounded by his family. Jason was given a short shot at life from the very beginning, but never stopped fighting. After a liver transplant at only 19, Jason would continue to fight his illness for over another decade. He is the bravest person any of us have ever known.

Jason was a lifelong resident of Pipersville and graduated from Central Bucks East in 2004. He loved spending his time working on his electronics, engines and just tooling around his family's property. But most of all, Jason loved being an uncle. Illness and fatigue was never an excuse for him to miss time with his nieces and nephew.

Jason is survived by his parents, James and Debbie, his older sister Danielle and brother-in-law Bob and their children, Jackson, Ava and Harper; as well as grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins of the Bucks County area.

A private memorial will be held in late spring. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in his name. www.cff.org
