KLINKE, JOSEPH S., on Monday, August 12, 2019, age 70, of Philadelphia, PA peacefully passed away after a long battle with leukemia and respiratory disease. Joe graduated from St. Joseph's Preparatory High School and received a Bachelors of Accounting degree from St. Joseph's University. He was a Senior Manager & Certified Public Accountant for over four decades with the Millner, Millner & Aronson which later merged and became known as WithumSmith & Brown, PC where he always demonstrated the highest of ethics, dedication to work, and attention to detail.

Joe was the beloved husband of fifty-one years to Constance (nee Hirst). Devoted father of Theresa (Wayne), Matthew (Kelly), Katherine (Billy), Pamela (Rob), Jennifer (Steven), Elizabeth Ann (late Miguel Morales), and Christina (Stephen). Dear Son of late Joseph Anthony and Roseanna Teresa Klinke and Brother of Rosemary (late Thomas), Bernadette, Thomas (Kathleen), Phillip (Mary Ellen), Paul (Monica), and Regina. Loving Grandfather of Roseanna, Laura (Rob), Nicole, Victoria, Ashlee (Sean), Sabrina, William, Isabella, John, Matthew, Allyson, Dominic, Logan, Stephen, Sarah, Abigail, Emily, EmmaRose, and Charlotte. Cherished Great GrandPopPop of Bailey and Avery.

Joe was an extraordinary man with an incredibly caring soul. He dedicated his life to his family, faith, respect, and his country. Joe's number one priority in life was his wife, Connie, and his children. He truly believed that his marriage was a priceless gift of God's everlasting love. Joe wholeheartedly loved his entire family as well as his many friends. He consistently told everyone to stay together. Joe wanted people to live in the present and leave squabbles in the past.

Joe was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus since 1967. He truly lived the four main principles in the Knights of Columbus - Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Joe was also a Grand Knight for Regina Coeli 4921 from 2013 to 2015 and a fourth-degree member of St. John Neumann Assembly 933. He loved his Roman Catholic faith sincerely. Joe was also a regular Eucharistic Minister for the Woodhaven Center and as needed for St. Katherine of Siena and other local parishes. His endless love for God was visible in his everyday words and actions. He was President of the Mayfair-Torresdale Kiwanis Club where he and his fellows formed enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities. In 2013, Joe worked hand-in-hand with the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce to support the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development regarding the PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit Plan. He on the Board of the Friends of Pennypack Park and Pennypack Music Festival Organization. Here he worked with other concerned individuals to advocate for the park, its events, and its condition. Joe was a truly remarkable man living the works of God every day.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, August 16, 2019, from 9-11AM. Funeral Mass at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 11 AM, 9700 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
