Obituary

Josephine M. Puleo was welcomed into heaven on January 25, 2020.Born on February 6, 1924 in Norristown she was the beloved daughter of late Stephen and Frances Marchese (nee Bondi).

She was the cherished wife of 36 years to the late Charles Puleo, dear sister to Rosemarie DeStefano, cherished aunt to several nieces and nephews and friend to many. Jo was reunited with her parents and her siblings Katherine Marchese, Philip Marchese and Phyllis Marchese. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Throughout Jo's life she exemplified true devotion and loyalty to her family especially serving as an affectionate caregiver. In her free time, Jo enjoyed tending to her garden, traveling and cooking. In her later years she spent many happy times as a resident at Shannondell. Jo was a devoted lifelong parishioner at Visitation BVM Parish of Norristown. She will forever be remembered for her thoughtfulness and kind heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jo's Life Celebration on Thursday January 30, 2020 from 9 am to 10 am at Boyd Horrox Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at Visitation BVM parish of Norristown, 190 N. Trooper Rd. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.
