Obituary

Judith Ann Wheeler died peacefully at home on February 23, 2021, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. Born in Trenton, NJ on April 6, 1945 to Margaret "Peggy" Hill and Jack Samuel Kasner. Judie was a 1963 graduate of Council Rock High School and Cadillac School of Cosmetology. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Ed, on June 20, 1964.
Judie was a longtime resident of Newtown, PA. She loved shopping, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family especially annual trips to Long Beach Island, NJ. Judie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 24, 1970 and was an active member of the Newtown Congregation. She most enjoyed teaching others about the Bible in her public ministry. Judie will be forever remembered for her loving, unselfish spirit, generosity, and unwavering faithfulness.
She is survived by her husband Ed of almost 57 years, daughters Leigh Byrd (Darrell) and Dayle Galletta (Matthew), son Ed Wheeler, and grandchildren Alyssa Smith (Jesse) and Ryan Byrd (Tawny). She is also survived by her sisters Susan Bonilla (Freddie), Sandee Hoffman (Scott), and Nancy Wilson (Jim) as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Judie was predeceased by her mother Peggy, brothers Jack Kasner, John O'Brien, and son Baby Boy Wheeler.
The family has scheduled an online memorial service for March 6. 2021.
