Lola Nancy Jackson (also called Nancy), 88, of Egg Harbor City, NJ entered into rest on Monday, March 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, where she resided for 83 years, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Lola Marie (Smith) Treen. She was predeceased by her brother Carlton Treen and her sister Naomi Lynn. She was the loving and devoted wife of Watkin Hughes Jackson who passed away in 1996.

Nancy was a 1947 graduate of Atlantic City High School. She was a secretary for over 20 years working for Prudential Insurance Company, retiring as an underwriter. She was a Girl Scout Leader, a past president of the PTA and a Sunday School teacher. Lola also was a member of Eastern Star Friendship Chapter 173 Atlantic City, the American Business Women's Association and United Methodist Women. She was a long-standing member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she was an adult Sunday School teacher. Her many hobbies included sewing, traveling and bowling. Lola was a voracious reader and loved vacationing at Walt Disney World. Her family was at the center of her life and the annual family reunions she provided brought her great joy.

She will be missed and fondly remembered by four daughters; Nancy (John) Dannenhauer, Jo (William) Gerson, Lois (Robert) Lockerbie, Debra (John) O'Kane, two sons; Russell W. (Alice) Jackson, Sr., Robert (Donna) Jackson, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lola's Life Celebration Funeral Service on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 207 Northfield Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225 at 11:00am. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225 from 6:30pm-8:30pm and on Saturday at the church from 10:00am until time of services.
