Obituary

PIERSON Louis J., of Philadelphia passed away on August 3rd, 2016 surrounded by his family at the age of 61. Louis will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Nyvette Gonzalez, grandson Nicholas, granddaughter Zoe, and stepson Paul Perez. Louis is survived by his brother John Diaz, his sister Carmen Anderson (late Gary) and his uncle Frank Pierson (Lolly). Louis also leaves behind an impressive legacy of his loving nieces Chivonn Anderson and Talia Urguhart (Marty) as well as great nephew Christian Urguhart and great niece Elina Urguhart.

Louis was most happy when he was with his family. My dad never missed any of his grandchildren's sports games or school plays. He was always their biggest fans and the crazy Pop-pop yelling in the stands. My dad was always there when we needed him the most.
Louis will always be remembered for his young at heart personality. My dad loved acting like a big kid and often got in trouble for it.

Louis was always very competitive. He need to always be the best at everything. His biggest accomplishment was winning our family's Cousin Cup Pinewood Derby race three years in a row. My dad would spend months working on his prize winning cars.

Relatives and friends are invited to Louis' Life Celebration Visitation on Wednesday 8/10 from 7-9pm at the Dean-Geitner-Givnish Life Celebration Home of Fox Chase 7900 Oxford Ave 19111 (215-745-1006) and on Thursday 8/11 from 10-11AM at the New Life Church (425 E.
