Obituary for Margarete H. Renard

June 29, 2021
New Hope, Pennsylvania

Margarete Kessler Renard was born November 1, 1926 in Germany.
To say her name is to remember the heart of her home and heart of our family. She is joyful, loving, affectionate, passionate, youthful and sensitive. Margarete possesses a 'classy wildness' about her that is irresistible and makes her unique.
She always made room at her dining table for her family, friends, and the children she lovingly cared for in her nursery. Margarete always had a youthfulness about her and a warmth and kindness that attracted people and strangers. Her home was filled with love, hearts, anything and everything red; which symbolized her love, energy, passion, heart, power.
Margaret loved to cook German fair and one could not visit without enjoying an intimate meal and discussion. She cared for her beloved dogs tenderly and lovingly.
Her every breath was filled with love, generosity, acceptance and compassion. Margarete has a deep felt love for her son, her husband, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is now in heaven reunited with her beloved parents and grandparents whom she cared deeply for. She described herself as the "apple of their eye". Her beautiful youthful soul is now free. They are together, grateful for the grace of God's love.
When you look at the sun, the moon, the stars, know the glow of her love is shining down on you. Her spirit is carried on by her beloved husband, William Renard, her son, Douglas Dobak, her granddaughter, Lauren E. Bishop, her grandson, Brian M. Dobak, great grandchildren…….and extended family and relatives and friends from every walk of life.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Omi during her 95 years, among them, how to pose for the camera, how to be 'classy', send birthday cards months in advance, never shut the bathroom door….nobody is peaking, never leave a morsel of food on your plate. Those who have taken her lessons to heart will ensure that a cozy meal is served to friends and family on every visit, every person is welcome inside her home with warmth, love, kisses.
I miss my snookums and sweetie; not only was she beautiful outside but her whole character eminated love, vibrance, kindness and happiness.
