Martha Brown of Wycombe, formerly of Warminster, Pa. passed away peacefully August 22, 2021 at her home with her loved ones by her side. She was 95 years old.
Martha was born January 7, 1926 and raised in Vienna, Austria. She spent her summers swimming in the Danube and ice skating on it during the winter months. During WWII, she worked as a long distance operator where she met her beloved husband Albert "Al" Brown an American GI stationed in Vienna. Al preceded her in death.
Martha was the loving mother of Carol (Tom) Patterson and Thomas (Carol) Brown. She was the sweetest grandmother of Michele (Jim) Peruto and Cindy Meckling. Also surviving are her amazing great granddaughters, DeAnna Meckling-Peruto, Hailie Meckling and Jackie Jo Peruto along with her cat Putzie.
Martha's greatest passion was her family. She loved spending time with her granddaughter and great granddaughters teaching them how to make her favorite dishes, Chicken Paprikash and Apple Strudel. She loved telling them stories about growing up in Vienna, spending time on her father's ferry boat and her pet goose Michael.
Martha also loved going to lunch at the Cock N Bull with her daughter and taking long walks around Lake Nockamixon. She enjoyed traveling back to Austria with her family, showing them her favorite places, walking and spending time in the Alps and having a glass of wine.
Playing Pinochle was one of her favorite past times, along with reading, watching cooking shows and Lawrence Welk.
Memom, as Jackie Jo called her, loved singing and teaching her Austrian songs. One of her favorites was Henshen Klein. Memom and Jackie Jo would sing and laugh for hours. She loved her great grandchildren with all of her heart.

Martha was an extremely dedicated and loving mother, grandmom,great grandmom, Memom and friend She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and many affectionately called her grandmom. She was loved by all.
Martha will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A private celebration of her life will be held for Martha at a later date.
